At Banbury Cross Nursery Ltd, we believe that mealtimes should be social, happy times where skills can be developed and foods tasted!
All our meals are nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared and cooked on a daily basis on our premises using the NHS Scotland Setting the Table Nutritional Guidance. We cater for all dietary preferences and requirements and will discuss this in depth with you upon registration.

Homebakes (made by the children)
Toasted bagel with cream cheese and veg sticks
Natural yoghurt with bran flakes and 2 portions of fresh fruit
Homemade burger with homemade potato wedges and carrot sticks
Fruit ice lollies
Wholemeal toast with cheese and veg sticks
Rice cakes with low fat spread and 2 portions of fresh fruit
Baked potato with baked beans and sweetcorn
Sugar free jelly and fruit
Homemade pitta pizzas with veg sticks
Wholemeal toast with low fat spread and 2 portions of fresh fruit
Pork tagine with couscous and grated carrots
Stewed pears and raisins
Wholemeal sandwich thins with boiled eggs and cherry tomatoes
Served between 7.15am and 8.15am
Served at 9.00am
Served at 11.30am
Served at 3.00pm
Small snack served at 5pm if children are still at nursery
Children will be offered a choice of healthy cereal or toast for breakfast if they arrive at Nursery before 8:15am.
Milk and water will be offered at snack times and diluted fresh fruit juice offered at meal times (one part water to one part juice) in order to support children's oral health. Fresh drinking water is available to children at all times.
